The Colors of Puerto Rico | From Rincón to Old San Juan

Architectural and color-driven photography inspired by Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico has a rhythm all its own — colorful yet weathered, relaxed yet alive. I created a collection of photographs inspired by the island’s contrasts: quiet coastal moments in Rincón, the historic textures of Old San Juan, and the colors that bring this island to life.

Rincón, Puerto Rico: Laid-Back Coastal Light

Much of this collection was photographed in Rincón, a surf town on the western coast of Puerto Rico known for its relaxed pace and natural beauty. My time here was bliss. Full of slow mornings, enjoying coffee while chatting with neighbors on the balcony. We'd head to town for breakfast at a local business, enjoy the bustling market for fresh produce and handmade goods, then head to the beach for a day of surf and tanning.

My Rincón photographs focus on color, architecture, and coastal landscapes. All shaped by sun, salt, and time.

Old San Juan: Color, History & Texture

Old San Juan feels like stepping into a living postcard. Cobblestone streets, colorful buildings and textured walls that hold stories across centuries. This area became a major source of inspiration for architectural and detail-driven photography within the collection.

The photographs from Old San Juan highlight the narrow streets, colorful colonial buildings and historic facades. Details and character that deserves to shine.

A Puerto Rico Photography Collection for Your Space

This Puerto Rico collection was created with versatility in mind. The photographs stand alone beautifully, yet also work together as a cohesive story. Whether styled as a single statement piece or layered into a gallery wall, these images add warmth, texture, and a sense of travel to your space.

Travel has a way of staying with us long after we return. Explore the Puerto Rico Collection here in the Wright + Roam shop and bring a piece of the island to your home.
